2024 Video Game Sound Design Reel


Reel Breakdown:

Redfall | Arkane Studios -

Worked remotely with the core audio team at Arkane to assist with sound design, foley, implementation, and mix.

Key responsibilities included: Tagging a large amount of animations, ambient emitter placement and mixing, sound designing effects to replace missing or placeholder sounds, recording and editing cloth foley for vampire robes, documentation and execution of outstanding audio tasks, attending weekly play testing sessions, assisting with the mix of the player abilities as well as gunshot distance attenuation, tracking and squashing bugs.

Avalon | Avalon Corp -

Worked remotely as main sound designer, contracted through Blipsounds.

Key responsibilities included: Creating a roadmap from square one of what sounds would be needed in order to meet v.s. deadline, designing and implementing FMOD systems to use with UE5 engine, utilizing blueprints, giving daily / weekly updates on sound progress, iterating on designed sfx to meet the needs of the small dev team, sourcing music to use for the demo, tracking and squashing bugs.

Depth | Digital Confectioners -

Worked remotely with Australian dev team to implement a select handful of sounds for an Arctic expansion.

Key Responsibilities included: Designing new sound effects to video captures of animations, successfully implementing new sounds into existing Wwise project via GitHub, iterating on the newly designed sfx.

Primal Hunt VR | Phaser Lock Interactive

Worked remotely alongside fellow Blipsounds members to design and implement SFX for VR Dino Game

Key Responsibilities included: Designing large number of creature SFX for a large number of huntable VR dinosaurs, Implementing and mixing sfx into Unity using a combination of native and custom audio tools, designing weapons and gadgets that translate well to VR controllers and headset, bug tracking and squashing.

Gundam Evolutions Trailer | Bandai Namco -

Performed post sound design for Gundam Evolutions trailer, contracted through Okratron5000.

Key Responsibilities included: Making the trailer sound cool as hell, iterating on making the trailer sound cool as hell.
